What it does

Odamol is a cloud-based hotel management system we built for small and mid-sized places to stay. Boutique hotels, guesthouses, bungalows and glamping sites run reservations, channel calendars, guest bills and reporting from a single panel. Nothing to install; it works in the browser, on phones and on tablets.

The need it answers

At a small property the owner is receptionist, accountant and buyer all at once, with no IT team behind them. Once the season starts, the notebook, spreadsheet and phone notes stop agreeing, and the same room can get sold twice; software built for large chains is too complex at this scale. We designed Odamol around these properties' daily work, and its screens use everyday language rather than technical terms: "room occupied", "guest check-in", "close the bill".

How it works

  • Reservations and calendar: Every room sits on one calendar, and room changes are a drag away. Availability is locked the moment a booking comes in, so the same room can't be sold twice.
  • Channel management: Booking, Airbnb and Expedia calendars stay in sync; a room filled on one channel closes on the others.
  • Guest bills and bookkeeping: Extras from the minibar to transfers go onto the bill, and at checkout the bill is ready with the property's own details.
  • Guest profiles: Each guest's history is kept on one card, so returning guests are recognised at the door.
  • Commission-free bookings: A booking tool added to the property's own website lets it sell direct.

AI appears in the system as an assistant called ODAM: owners ask it, by typing or speaking, for live data such as occupancy or the day's arrivals and departures. The assistant is still in development and marked as beta on the site.

Today

Odamol is live and open to properties. We keep developing it; details are at odamol.com.
